  • Hannah Victoria Franklin Pierce

    PRINCIPAL

    Hannah recently served as the Treasurer and Interim Board Chair of Intiman Theatre, an arts organization she has a long and storied history with as an artist and collaborator. Intiman Theatre uses the power of story and education to activate dialogue, confront inequity and build collective joy.

    She also served on the board of Red Eagle Soaring for 11 years and was the Chair for the last three. RES exists to empower American Indian and Alaska Native youth to express themselves with confidence and clarity through traditional and contemporary performing art

  • Nouriath Elliott

    DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTING

    Nouriath's favorite non-profits are two charitable organizations that focus on alleviating poverty and suffering. She supports Children's Hunger Fund, a Christian non-profit that works alongside local churches both in the United States and globally. This organization aims to address the needs of impoverished communities by providing resources and support.

    Additionally, Nouriath likes Operation Blessing, a nonprofit humanitarian organization committed to reducing human suffering. For over 40 years, Operation Blessing has been active in providing hunger relief, medical care, clean water, and disaster relief to millions of people in the U.S. and across the world, demonstrating God's love through their actions.

  • Doug McKenzie

    CONSULTING CFO

    Doug McKenzie was involved significantly with two major non-profit organizations. His involvement with Habitat for Humanity has been particularly noteworthy. While working with Habitat for Humanity, Doug dedicated his efforts to assisting homeowners in underserved communities by engaging in cleaning, home repairs, and yard work, and enhancing the overall beauty and upkeep of these areas.

    Additionally, he has been actively involved with Meals on Wheels, where his role has been pivotal in delivering food to senior citizens. Beyond just food delivery, Doug has also provided essential transportation services for seniors, helping them attend doctor's helping them attend doctor's appointments, visit grocery stores, and participate in various activities, thereby greatly enhancing their quality of life.

  • Kat Franco

    TAX LEAD

    Kat is actively involved with Girls on the Run and Hope Place, organizations that empower young girls and women in need. As a mentor with Girls on the Run, she promotes physical activity and personal growth, training alongside a preteen girl for a 5K run. At Hope Place, an extension of The Union Gospel Mission, she supports women and children recovering from abuse and addiction by cooking and serving meals. Through her volunteer work, Kat demonstrates a deep commitment to fostering confidence, resilience, and healing within her community.

  • Karlo Briones

    CHIEF ACCOUNTING OFFICER

    Karlo supports two organizations dedicated to helping disadvantaged communities: Tahanang Walang Hagdanan and Gawad Kalinga. He supports Tahanang Walang Hagdanan for its mission to assist people with disabilities through education, mobility aids, and livelihood programs like woodwork and needlecrafts. Karlo also supports Gawad Kalinga, which focuses on addressing poverty and homelessness by providing housing, child development, and wellness programs. His involvement with both organizations reflects his dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of those facing significant challenges.

  • Chau Nguyen

    FINANCE AND PAYROLL DIRECTOR

    Chau has a diverse accounting background, with experience at the Chief Seattle Club and the City of Seattle's accounting department. Specializing in accounts payable and payroll since 2016, she deeply values the impact of non-profits on communities. While she finds it difficult to choose a favorite, Chau admires their role in creating positive change. Her enthusiasm for her work at FPNW comes from the opportunity to connect with clients dedicated to making the world a better place, reinforcing her commitment to supporting organizations that serve the community.

I.C. Pearl Bartolo

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

I.C. Pearl is deeply connected to Caritas Manila and Kidszone, two organizations that have shaped her commitment to education and youth development. Caritas Manila played a pivotal role in her life by providing a college scholarship, fueling her passion for poverty alleviation through education and disaster recovery efforts.

She also served as a Kidszone teacher at Citylight Baptist Church, guiding children in faith and personal growth. Through her involvement, Pearl remains dedicated to empowering youth and supporting long-term solutions that uplift communities in need.

Rizzalene Angeles

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Rizzalene actively supports two Philippine-based non-profits: Kababaihan Gabay ng Bayan (KAGABAY) and Likhaan. KAGABAY empowers women in urban poor communities by promoting social, political, and economic development to reduce poverty. With the motto “Women for Women,” it aligns with national goals to uplift women as agents of change.

Likhaan focuses on reproductive health and rights, providing clinical services, education, and advocacy for marginalized women. Through these organizations, Rizzalene champions women's empowerment, health, and social well-being, reflecting her dedication to creating positive change in underserved communities.

Giemelle Gavina

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Giemelle actively supports two vital organizations in the Philippines: Home For Girls and Kanlungan ni Maria Home For The Aged. Home For Girls provides a safe haven for children at risk of abuse, offering shelter, education, and psychological support to aid their rehabilitation.

Kanlungan ni Maria cares for abandoned and vulnerable elderly individuals, ensuring they receive not only basic necessities but also emotional and social support. Through her involvement, Giemelle demonstrates a deep commitment to protecting and uplifting both children and the elderly, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for those in need.

Pamela Gallardo

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Pamela learned about Hound Haven Philippines, 7 years ago, when she came across the documentary of Kara David: “Sundalong Aso.” In the Philippines, there is currently no standard policy on the retirement of Military Working Dogs and Contract Working dogs, which is a sad reality considering the fact that, according to Hound Haven, an average working dog works for about 8-15 years, dedicating more than half of their live in service to human. They give love and shelter to retired dogs, and their mission is to eventually find a permanent home for them to live peacefully until the day they cross the rainbow bridge.

Jessica Heck

GRANTS AND DEVELOPMENT LEAD

Jessica is a skilled grant writer and administrator, assisting clients in winning, managing, and maintaining financial responsibility for private, foundation, and state grants. Her work supports both immediate community needs and long-term systemic change. She supports Kulshan Community Land Trust and Community to Community (C2C), advancing community development and social justice. Kulshan helps middle-income individuals in Whatcom County purchase affordable homes, benefiting essential workers like teachers, social workers, and police officers, while ensuring homes remain affordable for future buyers. C2C challenges settler colonialism, capitalism, and patriarchy through eco-feminism, focusing on Participatory Democracy, Food Justice, and Movement Building. 

Mara Hahn

CLIENT ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

Mara Hahn deeply supports Brave Space Alliance and Ethos, two organizations making a lasting impact in their communities. Brave Space Alliance, the first Black- and trans-led LGBTQ+ center on Chicago’s South Side, provides culturally competent resources and affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals.

Mara also champions Ethos, an Oregon-based nonprofit ensuring all youth have access to music education, regardless of socioeconomic status. Serving over 7,000 students annually, Ethos offers classes, lessons, and outreach programs. Her dedication to these organizations reflects her passion for equity, community empowerment, and the arts.

Rose Waterstone

ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT LEAD

Rose (all pronouns) is an organizational consultant, facilitator, and coach with over 20 years of experience in leadership and nonprofit development. They founded Young Women Empowered (Y-WE), growing it from a single program into a thriving organization serving thousands of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ youth annually. Committed to justice and liberation, Y-WE provides a safe space for youth to find their voice and power.

Rose is also engaged with Kadima Reconstructionist Community, which bridges spirituality and social justice, and AbrazoPaz, a leadership and violence prevention program empowering Mexican youth to choose peaceful solutions over crime.

Yalonda Latifa Allen-Sinde

NONPROFIT AND GRANT WRITING CONSULTANT

Yalonda's favorite non-profits are the Washington Multicultural Services Link (WMSL) and the Global African Community Initiative (GACI). WMSL, a Black, refugee, woman-led organization, advocates for African Diaspora and African American families navigating disabilities and healthcare needs. Inspired by its founder’s personal journey, WMSL has become a key resource for underrepresented families.

GACI, founded in 2020 by Kenyan and African American leaders, works to alleviate suffering among people of African descent by addressing health, economic, and environmental disparities. Yalonda’s support for these organizations reflects her dedication to equity and community empowerment.

Caira Joyce

ASSOCIATE ACCOUNTANT

Caira passionately supports two impactful Philippine non-profits: the ICanServe Foundation and Childhope Philippines. ICanServe, led by breast cancer survivors and volunteers, partners with local governments to promote early detection, provide treatment access, and offer survivorship care. Her advocacy reflects a deep commitment to health and cancer awareness.

She also supports Childhope Philippines, which protects and empowers street children through education, healthcare, and social services. Driven by compassion and commitment, these organizations align with Caira’s dedication to creating long-term improvements in health and child welfare in the Philippines.

Ivy Jewel Laurente

ASSOCIATE ACCOUNTANT

Ivy's favorite non-profit is Mama’s Hope Haven of Norway, a Christian organization dedicated to serving the poor in the Philippines. She admires its comprehensive approach, which includes operating a hospital, conducting medical missions, and providing educational support.

The organization also offers shelter to children who have experienced violence, ensuring their safety and well-being. Ivy values Ma-Ma’s Hope Haven for its holistic commitment to healthcare, education, and child protection, reflecting her deep appreciation for organizations that provide essential services to vulnerable communities.

Dylan Thomas Elwood

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEAD

Dylan (Turtle Mountain Chippewa) has been involved in Urban Native non-profits for four years, serving as Development Coordinator for Red Eagle Soaring Native Youth Theatre. He has worked side by side with Chief Seattle Club, Seattle Indian Health Board, Native Action Network, and Eastside Indian Education Program. His focus is bringing traditional arts, dance, and cultural education to Indigenous youth throughout Washington and beyond.

Will Myers

FUND DEVELOPMENT LEAD

Will joined FPNW through his work with Chief Seattle Club, a nonprofit supporting American Indian and Alaskan Native communities in King County. For over 50 years, CSC has provided essential services, including housing, hot meals, vocational programs, and community arts, offering culturally informed care year-round.

Will is also a longtime supporter of Scarecrow Video, the largest publicly accessible video collection in the U.S. Dedicated to preserving cinematic storytelling and physical media, Scarecrow champions diverse voices, ensuring underrepresented filmmakers and cultural histories remain accessible to all.

Mykalae Ambrozic

PRINCIPAL EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

With a decade of experience as a barista in the Pacific Northwest, Mykalae has developed a passion for community engagement and advocating for marginalized voices. She’s proud to work for a finance company that shares these values, supporting organizations like El Centro de la Raza and Oasis Youth Center. El Centro de la Raza works to advance racial and economic justice by providing vital services to Latino families, including housing, healthcare, and education, while advocating for systemic change. Oasis empowers queer youth in Pierce County by offering a safe space, mentorship, and resources to help them thrive. Mykalae is committed to fostering positive change.

Nik Doner

OPERATIONS DEVELOPMENT LEAD

Two of Nik’s favorite non-profits are Shatterproof and the Face It Foundation. Shatterproof is a organization focused on transforming addiction treatment by ending the stigma of addiction and educating and empowering communities through a national movement to treat addiction like the chronic disease it is and offering evidence-based resources for prevention and recovery.

The Face It Foundation focuses on giving men the support they need to face depression, take control of their recovery and get their lives back. Time with peers and support groups teaches men that they’re not alone in their struggle, and one of the bravest, manliest things you can do is ask for help.

Audrey Remle

CLIENT ENGAGEMENT LEAD

Audrey began her work with nonprofits as a Professional Mentor with Friends of the Children Seattle. The organization is dedicated to impacting generational change by helping youth who are facing the toughest systemic barriers realize their power through relationships with salaried, professional mentors, for 12+ years—no matter what.

She also was a teacher at Pike Market Childcare and Preschool. PMCCP strives to provide high quality early learning that is accessible to all families, regardless of income and to create a community of belonging, teaching and learning, rich in racial, socio-economic, gender and language diversity.

Chris Pierce

SENIOR ADVISOR

Chris is deeply committed to supporting community-centered organizations like Seattle Neighborhood Greenways, which advocates for safe, accessible, and sustainable streets for pedestrians and cyclists. Their work helps transform neighborhoods, promoting health, safety, and environmental sustainability for all residents.

Equally important to Chris is the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP), which provides legal services and advocacy for immigrant communities in the Pacific Northwest. NWIRP works to ensure that immigrant rights are protected, offering support to those facing deportation, fighting for policy reforms, and empowering individuals through education. Both of these nonprofits reflect Chris’ values of justice, community well-being, and inclusion.
